    Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

At Hampton Primary Partnership our vision for children with special educational needs and disabilities is the same as for all children: they achieve at school, have the same opportunities, are happy and make excellent progress from their starting points. We promote an atmosphere of encouragement, acceptance and respect for effort and achievement. Our core aims are to set ambitious targets and to ensure excellence for all. We ensure children become increasingly independent so that by the end of each Key Stage they are ready for the next stage of their education.

‘Pupils with SEND are swiftly identified. The school works well with external agencies and specialists to establish the right types of support based on pupils’ needs. This information is communicated with staff, who make appropriate adaptations to tasks and activities across subjects. This means that pupils with SEND are very well supported to access the same ambitious curriculum as their peers’ (Ofsted at HISN, December 2023)

‘The school identifies the needs of pupils with SEND with precision. Leaders are ambitious for these pupils and ensure that they follow the same curriculum as their peers, with adaptations to teaching if needed. As a result, these pupils achieve exceptionally well’ (Ofsted at HJS, June 2024).

If you would like to discuss your child’s progress, or if you have any concerns, then please speak to a member of the Inclusion team:
