Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and at HPP we ensure that your child’s safety is of paramount importance.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined in ‘Keeping children safe in education –July 2016’ as: protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health and development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.
To do this HPP will:
Establish and maintain an environment where children feel secure, are encouraged to talk, and are listened to;
