The  Parent Support Advisor at Hampton Primary Partnership works directly with parents and carers to provide support, guidance and information on a range of issues that affect home and school life.  It is an impartial and confidential  service that aims to improve your child's wellbeing by supporting parents and carers in navigating the ups and downs of family life. 

What support is offered? 

• Someone to listen 
• Non-judgmental advice 
• Discuss concerns related to home or school 
• Support with attendance 
• Positive parenting and behaviour management strategies 
• Support with transition through schools 
• Support with sleep routines 
• Support with healthy eating and nutrition 
• Support with benefits and housing 
• Family routines 
• Bereavement support 
• Advice on supporting children through separation and divorce
• Signposting to local and national support services for family 

Who is our Parent Support Advisor? 

Karen Finnegan is our Parent Support Advisor and she works across the partnership. Karen has been at the school for the last four years and has worked with children and families for over twenty six years.  During this time she has built up  a wealth of knowledge and experience whilst working alongside professional teams in health, education and social care.  We all need a little help  from time to time, so if  you need some advice or support or maybe just a friendly listening ear about any worries you may have why not contact our Parent Support Advisor.
